Reynolds Wins Second Straight ATP Challenger in Baton Rouge

Baton Rouge, LA - April 28, 2008 - American Bobby Reynolds followed his victory last week in Tallahassee, Florida with another win in Louisiana as the USTA Men's Pro Circuit Challenger series wrapped up it's Spring hard court swing through the South. Reynolds, #77 in the ATP world rankings released on Monday, defeated Igor Kunitsyn of Russia 6-3, 6-7 (3), 7-5.


Earlier in the day, the doubles tandem of Tim Smyczek, United States and Phillip Simmonds, United Stated defeated local favorites Michael Venus, United States and 15-year old phenomenon Ryan Harrison, United States. Harrison is originally from Shreveport, LA and is well know throughout the state and Venus is a junior at LSU and is the #1 singles player for the Tigers. (read more)
